Meet Navigate Education Partners.
Navigate Education Partners was created to help families feel less overwhelmed and more equipped as they move through the special education process. We bring school-based experience, clinical knowledge, team leadership, and a deep respect for both the school team and family’s role. We know the system can be confusing — we also know that when families are informed and prepared, meetings become more productive and students are better supported.
Our work is grounded in collaboration, clarity, and practical skill-building.
We help families build bridges, not burn them.
Special education can be emotional, especially when a child is struggling or when families feel unheard. Families deserve support that is knowledgeable, honest, and grounded. At Navigate, we’re not here to escalate disagreements or turn a meeting into a battle — we’re here to help families understand the process and communicate clearly and effectively.
Our approach is collaborative, but not passive. Warm, but not vague. Direct, but not inflammatory. That balance matters.
Two people who’ve been in the room.
Lauren Lewis, MA, CCC-SLP
Lauren is a licensed speech-language pathologist and special education team chair with more than fifteen years of experience supporting students, families, and school teams. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from the University of San Diego and her master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The George Washington University.
She spent nine years as a school-based speech-language pathologist before transitioning to her current role as an elementary school team chair, giving her a deep understanding of how schools function and how teams make decisions.
Through Navigate, she helps families build the knowledge, language, and confidence they need to understand the special education process and speak up effectively for their children. Lauren lives in Wayland, Massachusetts with her husband, two children, and their French bulldog.

Because prepared, confident families make the whole team stronger.
We’ve sat in many, many IEP meetings, and we’ve seen the difference it makes when families walk in prepared — knowing what the plan says, what they want to ask, and how they want to say it. Navigate was created to help families build those skills.
Our goal is for every family to leave our work together with practical tools they’ll use for years — reading IEPs with confidence, tracking progress, asking clear questions, and partnering effectively with their school team.
Let’s make the process feel more manageable.
If you’re trying to understand an IEP, prepare for a meeting, or figure out what questions to ask next, we can help.
